Aftermarket Door Hinges

Hi all,

I am looking to get new upper and lower door hinges for my '02 TJ. I'm considering Rugged Ridge black hinges but have read good and bad reviews. Has anyone had good/bad luck with different aftermarket brands they would recommend?

What's wrong with the old ones?
I think I would stick with oem.

There is some slight corrosion starting on them. I am in the process of a full repaint and was planning on taking the hinges off because there's no paint between them and the door skins from factory. Only reason I'm considering aftermarket is because if I paint my hinges then try to reinstall, the paint would get torn up.

I was looking into this for some half doors that I ended up selling. The consensus was that all the aftermarket door hinges are flimsy. Better to get OEM if you can.

I did also get some from Daveys Jeep. Though they don't always have them in stock. I ended up getting most from them, got one that they didn't have on Ebay.
