Aftermath of 3” Body Lift

I sort of wonder, when you have a 3 inch BL and you hit something, or just brake hard, does the frame stop and the body just keep going?

Yes, I read somewhere a 3" body lift is safe. I think it was on the interwebs.

Granted, but the increased length of the bolts without increasing in diameter and strength would make it more of a hazard. Maybe I'm wrong. If you have a substantial wreck, no matter whether there's a body lift or not, there's going to be a shift relative to the frame and tub.

Yep, they totaled my yj, after getting rear ended, and it has at least a 2" . Only had it 8 months. The body shifted forward, and tore the mounts. What part was they didn't even have the rubber body mounts.... Just the BL pucks. Lol.
