Air bag light, what to do?

Okay. Here’s what I found, when I start the Jeep the light does not come on, even for a second. However, i turned the passenger airbag off, and the light does work.
so, what else would cause the airbag light on the dash to come on ? Seems to be intermittent as it is off now.

The airbag light could have been on for a host of reasons - the only way to know for sure is to check the code. You'll need an OBD2 reader that can read SRS, I'm not sure if the guys at the autoparts store can read them for free or not. The system monitors that on/off switch & the squibs in both airbags.
