Air Filter Score

I needed an air filter and stopped at Advance. They were discontinuing a brand and got it for $0.55. I ordered 8 more. They'll pull them from local warehouses. Check your local Advance to see if they have them.

That was a great score but I wonder why they dropped that brand of air filter? Some air filters don't filter very well in lab tests.

Probably more to do with money than performance.

Sweet advice, I called and got four for my 2 TJ's. Side note, the one guy at the store said that all of driveworks is being discontinued, so as expected I started into more driveworks items such as, u joints, bulbs, belts, etc. Was going to build some trail boxes for spare parts. Called the other store that had the items, learned that they are discontinuing the air filters ONLY. was looking forward to building trail boxes but at least I scored some spare air filters... thanks again Upstater..
