Alex01 Silver Sport Build Thread

Also the bigger the booth the better because you worn they overspray on the walls. Just google makeshift garage paint booth and you’ll get some ideas. My buddy had heavy plastic and 2X4s screwed to the ceiling and he would just drop the plastic when he painted. Worked pretty well too.
I'll definitely keep that in mind for next time. The 2x4 idea is great. I'll need to set that up next time I have a big project.

First trip into the sun. Needs access panels, latches, tailgate, and other small items but figured I'd let it bake a bit and enjoy it in new light.

The American flag in the back seat area looks really good.

I got the front reservoirs attached by bending some flat stock to make a mounting location, installed the grills that go on the inner fenders/fenders, installed all the bolts/rivets on the fenders and installed the front fender lights lights (haven't wired them yet). I'm not crazy about the side marker location, I may move it to the lower part of the perforated grill, but I do like that it's hard to see and will still light up the whole inner fender while turning.

The hood latches are being a pita. The drivers side no longer wants to stay latched when fully tightened. I'm thinking I'll pick up a set from ruggid ridge and be done with them.
