And So It Begins 04 Rubicon

Isn't Mishimoto headquartered somewhere in PA?

Went ahead and asked professor Google and yes you are right. Headquarters and R&D are in PA. Manufacturing is all over the world. Not sure if I wanna spend 450 but it is high on my list. I love the welded tanks and how thick the brackets are. Thanks for the update.

So I did the sub woofer yesterday. Hooked up the amp and something isn't working, so it appears I'll be taking the head unit back out.

You can see the condition of the old sub.

What a cheesy factory amp. I was expecting something different.

Good washing for everything before we start assembly.

The circle portion that ties the ridges all together sticks about 1/4" above the ridges. It has to be relieved in order for the kicker sub to fit all the way in

Picture after I relieved the ridge.

Lol only thing I had laying around to cover the old amp hole. It worked with 4 screws and a little silicon.

Finished product. I think it came out nice. Now I have to go back and figure out what I screwed up so I can make it work lol.

Installed the rear control arms yesterday no pictures yet as you guys have seen this hundreds of times but a question. What did you guys do with the brake lines that were bolted to the factory control arms? Trying to fabricate some kind of bracket to hold them but was curious what others had done.

Are you talking about the parking brake cables? I used some 1" tube clamp light mounts on my Curry arms.

I got some motorcycle light clamp mounts that fit the OD of the arm. Can't find a clear photo, but they do give something solid to attach to

Installed my hood vents today. Looks pretty good to me. I know the highest heat is on the sides but this looked sexier. Thank you to all the people that helped me muttle through picking this out
