Been trying to find local groups of other Jeep owners in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia (Basically the Norfolk, Virginia Beach and Chesapeake area) but without success. Seems the groups I found on google are gone.

Anyone in the NOVA area, there is a very good Jeep show this Saturday, from 1000 -1600. The event takes place at the Fauquier County Fairgrounds, Warrenton VA. Here's a link to the event.

My partner's folks live in Fairfax county, if I'm up that way and in my Jeep when y'all have a meetup, I'd love to swing by. My area of the state is entirely dead it seems for Jeep groups or even just general off-roading groups it seems.

Yeah, they're a dead group it seems, I tried their forums back in February but no luck.
They are more on Facebook these days but that is slow too. RVA Rockcrawlers is another but Facebook and based out of Richmond.
Try VA4WDA or join it too. I am a member. Most of the board members are in tidewater area. Club board meetings are held down in tidewater area. There is a meet/open house at Eastern Truck & Accessories on May 21. Their Facebook page has regular posts and they have events/trail clean ups. They host an event at Oakridge in the fall annually and use to have an event at Gore annually as well. That's start back up soon.

Might explain it then, I don't use facebook at all. Shame the forums they have isn't used anymore.
That eastern truck & Accessories place is like 6.4 miles from my place but I won't be able to go to that, as I have something else going on then.
