I had some of the Harbor Freight Jackstands, and I've returned them. Anyone have any suggestions on what to get now? I'm kinda leary to get another set of theirs.

I have a set of (4) 6 ton orange/white jack stands from HF that I purchased about 20 years ago to use with a '98 XJ 4.0L; they have worked very well.
I have a set of HF 4 ton stands at least 35 yrs old. Got a set off of Amazon 3? Yrs ago. 6 ton. What was wrong with yours? They are a pretty basic design. Amazon let's you return no hassle and order a different version before the original set is even picked up. Hard to beat.

I think 3 ton jack are pretty useless for a TJ unless you only want to support the axles. 6 ton are higher and much more stable and can support the frame with no problems.
Just got these a couple days ago. Have not used yet. My HF were recalled.

They had a recall because they were dropping cars on people, then the replacements had a recall also. So I’m a little leery of HF now.
