Just need a way to get 6.5's in the front, it seems damn hard. I've already got the speakers, just no way to fit them,

Thanks

I think the general upgrade in the front is 5.25" with some type of adapter plate (that's what I did). As you're finding, I think the 6.5" are too large to actually work in the space. Doesn't mean it can't with trimming and reworking tho.

I have 5 1/4 in these but will be installing 6 1/2 in them soon. I thought they may interfere with my foot but they sit pretty far back and not an issue for me. I dont submerge my Jeep either, but do use the water resistant Polk.

You can fit them in the foot well up front. Try install bay the pods they fit in pretty easy to find. They don’t interfere with your feet. When you get them place sound deadening around them. I actually lined mine with to really make them rigid. Sound great.

If you used these pods, are you still using the speakers in your dash? How about the roll bar? I guess my question is what's the set up? Are you using a total of 4 or 6 speakers?

If you're using this, are you still using the speakers located in your dash? How about the roll bar? How many speakers total are you using?

I am not running the dash speakers and I have no sound bar on the roll cage. Just the 5 1/4 polks and an 8"skar sub in the back. I thought about hooking up the dash speakers along with the 5 1/4 since they are new polks aswell but haven't..
I want to try 6.5s in those pods. I have heard of others that have done it.
