This is a popular misconception among many. Incest between close relatives generally only occurs for one of two reasons. The first is the lack of access to any other alternatives usually due to restrictive geography and limited travel options such as living on a small island or in an area with a low population, countless mountain hollows, and an underdeveloped road system. Alabama, unlike West Virginia has far flatter terrain, is more populated, and the easier travel making incest far less likely, although second cousins are considered fair game. The second reason for incest between close relatives is that, in many larger cities, the morals of the women are so low that they have no idea who the father of their children actually is. And this makes it far more likely for people to inadvertently have sex with their half sibling.
As for the chances your brothers are gay, probably not as most of Alabama is Republican. You can tell for sure by asking if they are "White Dudes for Harris." If they say "yes" then they are 100% super gay.
