Anyone else into RC rock crawling?

Looks like Barbie found pirate4x4!

Build threads?

rccrawler.com, large scale page, user name (everywhere but here for some reason 🙃 ) FRIZZLEFRY. I think there are build threads for both. The pink one had V1 and 2 phases, and the green one I did right the first time.

The pink one is 70s Hasbro GI Joe. The green one is Marx Toys.

I registered there, they're having trouble confirming emails. They direct you to PM a moderator but I can't do that because "my profile is awaiting approval" or something like that. 🤦‍♂️

Holy cow! The detail on that thing. Not unfortunate at all.

The trail scale croud can get........... Obsessed?!?!?! I've seen some videos of the competitions and they have action figures in fully authentic looking interiors with their hand on a steering wheel and it actually moves in the direction the RC turns...

The detail on this and others is amazing...but imagine it in real life, if nothing else those chains. Another pic that I couldn't find had an awesome, detailed SUV that looked real......except for the winch line run out and hooked to the roof rack, for "easy access" I assume. Again, imagine that in real life.

it's funny how when I know it's an RC, my mind unconsciously suspends critical thought. I didn't even think about those chains or the high lift jack from the standpoint I would have if I thought it was a full size rig.

Metallic paint tends to give it away for me. The relative scale of the metal flakes vs the rig makes it obvious. That one does look good though and I appreciate the work that went into it.

I just went out and added chains to my big rig. Looks awesome!

My 1/24 collection keeps growing...

I'm getting back into these recently, too. I've got a basically stock deadbolt that I pulled outta the mothballs last week. Found a company called hardpark that's releasing a set of MOA axles B4 Christmas... My builder sense is tingling!

Also... Drift cars.

I got my SCX24 C10 out this week and have been playing with it. I need to take my TRX4M K10 out on a hike but I've been pretty sick and don't have my wind back yet.
