The project for tomorrow is to replace the K&N cold air intake with the factory air box. Luckily the OP kept the old system and it appears to be complete. Anyone have a picture of the factory setup. I’m primarily looking for the orientation of the tube entering the filter box and where the 2 flanged nuts go.

Anyone want a slightly used K&N cold air intake?

Go to a Mopar parts house online and pull the diagram..they are are all fairly similar ..rubi or not.

Take your time, and don't look at all the dust in the k and n tube, it won't make you smile.

I’m done thanks for the input. It took longer than I expected. Three beers instead of one. The K&N filter mount rubbed the paint off the body and I had to touch it up. Also the air temp sensor was missing the oring and I had to find a replacement. The air sensor had black gunk on it. The intake body was covered in gunk but the inside of the tube was fairly clean. The towel pictured below shows how much I had to clean off. All and all a pleasant time spent with the TJ.

Ok here is a bunch from my 05. The white PVC elbow I added to supply clean air to my York OBA. Let me know if you need anything else. Mine is in the garage right now so any other pic is no problem
