Anyone have any experience with Baofeng BF-F8HP

And China is clearly sending them their best equipment to help in the liberation struggle against those evil neo-nazi thugs lol. I wonder if Putin gave some high ranking general a pile of cash and was like "buy high tech secure radios" and the guy took the money to Alibaba, spent a couple grand on radios for the entire army, then blew the rest in vodka and hookers.

Ok, I will try to get it back on track, look at the bin labeled "HT radios, faraday bagged"

In the bag are "chirped" radios, 6 BF-888s and 2 uv5r types. Anyone think the bags will work?

Obviously, leave the tin hat and conspiracy theories out as has been requested.

I bought a few of these kits for friends and such....

The charger and a prophalatic cable are in the bag too plus a pair of uv5r's sharing one usb charger.

I am rather impressed by your supply setup.

Yesterday my friend had a birthday and he had a little too much alcohol. To restore the body, he made a dropper IV Drip therapy https://gojoocy.com/iv-drip/hangover/ . After this drop, he felt very good. No more drinking))

Where did this thread derail?

Anyways, I've got one of these little F8HP radios. Works fine, It also transmits and receives GMRS (I have a license for both). I had it mounted to my dash along with a separate mic, connected to an external antenna, and the battery replace with one that plugs into a 12-volt receptacle. So essentially functioned as a mounted HAM/GMRS radio.

Later I got a different HAM radio (that also transmits/receives GMRS), so now the F8HP still sits on the same dash mount (from Rugged Radio), but is no longer connected to an external antenna nor has the battery delete thingy in place.

hells bells, could they have made the plug in any bigger? Are they wanting people in the back seat to be able to remove it?

Yup; that's it. That's my battery delete thingy.

If you look in the picture in post 125, you'll see I have it plugged in on the transmission cover tunnel. I put another 12-volt accessory port (cigarette lighter plug) down there so I didn't have wires crossing across the dash and interfering with the shift lever.

I believe this is the radio mount I used on my TJ's dash:

I like that idea...

Or maybe I'll just cut that stupid thing off and hardwire it into my switch panel.
