Anyone know of any good automotive electricians who have experience with TJs in Southern California? Orange County/LA area

I’m have fuel injector issues/cylinder misfiring. Replaced the injector but it is still dumping lots of fuel into the engine and smells aweful. Replaced injector and had the computer checked out but no dice. Maybe a sensor issue.

Started happening after I parked on a slope so I’m thinking something got knocked loose.

Thanks in advance 👍

I've heard Medico de Jeep near Mid City has redone electrical wiring from O2 connector to PCM connector before... supposed to be some old school mechanic not great customer service sometimes from what i've heard but I'm probably gonna go to him as well for wiring. I'd be interested to see if anyone else could recommend someone.

From what I see online El Medico de Jeep is permanently closed 😔
His previous location closed he is now located in Mid City Pico and Fairfax 5864 W Pico Blvd. I used to work 5 minutes from there.
Someone else who might be on this forum that i've run into at a different shop on multiple occasions also recommended him for electrical.

Oh sick! Thanks for this. Will have to see if my Jeep will be able to make it that far from OC lol

If I understand your first post, you have one cylinder where the injector is not firing? Have you put a NOID light on it to verify?

Be careful. A lot of mechanics in LA will...you know. Especially when it comes to electrical. Smart to ask around. But try to diagnose yourself a little more if you can.

that is exactly what I meant when talking about customer service. Guy said he fixed it and told him this is the price. and owner said well you didn't even consult me about price beforehand and mechanic told him well i can undo the work if you'd like...but he fixed it.

haha I started laughing when I read this post. You're described him perfectly. He kept my Jeep for a week and didnt do much at all. I didnt hear back from him for 3 days or so and when I tried to reach him, I got a message that his phone was disconnected. Yeah. I reached out to the shop itself a couple of times and asked that he please return my call. He says he was having same family issues or something. I may have caught him on a bad week. Whatever the case may be, never again for me. Im sure he knows what he is doing but he is semi retired and appears super busy for the kind of attention that is needed, in my opinion. That's how I found this thread; im still looking for a Jeep Specialist in So Cal!
