I can’t tell if this is wiring that is broken and sticking out or some sort of plastic tubing the wiring is wrapped around. The wiring runs to the o2 sensors on the precats(I think that’s what they’re called) plus back up to the engine and splits into several different directions. I’m pretty much clueless when it comes to what many things are called in the engine compartment.
Need to see it pulled out of the loom a bit more to see if it is one of the factory splices for the grounds.
I think I figured it out when I pulled more of the dry rotted plastic off. It seems to be a plastic rod inserted to keep the wiring horizontal and doesn’t droop along side the engine. Does that sound right.
