Just know I'm laughing too....
I bruised the SHIT out of my leg so I'm taking a few days off.
Is the bruising just a common thing from wearing the prosthetic?

Ahhh...that makes sense. So, a break for some relief, but ultimately a refitting? Or is that not quite how it works?

A break to let it heal a little bit. And then yes I'll go see my prothesis and he'll add some pads to take up the space for now. The VA wants to wait to see if I shrink anymore before they authorize new sockets be made. The sockets I have right now will be 2 years old in Aug so I'll be due for some new ones within the next 6-8 months.
