Are the 2.5" OME springs necessary in the rear?

The 2" front spring is meant to be paired with the included 10mm spacers (that come with the kit). Some people install them, others leave them out. They are there to level what some perceive as an unacceptable rake. The rake never bothered me, as it goes away once you add weight to the rear.
