Hey guys, I’m still relatively new to the Jeep scene but I go out every weekend with my dad and do a new trail in the Phoenix AZ area. My interest started at mild scenic trails and has now evolved to trying more technical stuff in the rocks. I figured it would be fun to document some of the fun trails I do on here and might give the Arizona guys some inspiration on fun trails to do!

Woodpecker Trail:
Last weekend we went out to Woodpecker trail out near Florence and it was definitely one of the most challenging trails yet. Here’s the first obstacle we did. Check out all the scratches on the side wall! Definitely made me nervous haha. Basically just a vertical wall and super tight space.

My dad wasn’t so lucky on this one

This trail also serves as the entrance to the famous Highway to Hell trail that’s marked with a statue of broken parts from the trail. This is one of the more challenging rock trails we have here and I’m not quite ready for it yet. But that’s the goal!

And that’s most of what I’ve got for now. I’ll try to take more vids and pics of our next trip.

Rocker Panel Pass (Sycamore Creek, AZ)
Let me tell ya they call this rocker panel pass for a reason. It starts out as a pleasant drive through some streams and you climb up through a little tight canyon on a mountain with tons of boulders. There were several corners that were so tight you had to get your rocker on a builder and pivot around the corner. Very fun and rewarding view at the top. Also had my first run in with quicksand out here.

Log Corral Trail:
With the recent rains my dad and I decided to take advantage of it and have some fun on trails with water crossings. This trail was pretty awesome because it started at a Beeline highway and made its way through a little forest to Bartlett Lake. It had water, rocks, forest, and desert sand track all in one. The rain made the rock crawling sections super tricky because we were sliding everywhere.

this obstacle was a beast to get over since it was soaking wet. Super tricky to not slide off your line. We were too busy spotting to take pictures.

AZ is on my short list for my retirement destination...these pics are moving it up on the list. Thx for sharing.
There is a massive number of trails to do here of all kinds. I live in Chandler and feel like it’s very centralized with a large majority of the good wheeling being just one hour away from my house. Thanks for viewing!

I’m moving to Goodyear in February, looking forward to some of these trails. Thanks for sharing!

Hey guys, haven’t been posting a lot on here mostly because I’ve been traveling to pole vault competitions since December but now that sports are cancelled it’s wheelin season again! Yesterday my dad and I hit up Jack Handle Trail in Florence AZ and had a blast. Sadly all I got was one video but it was an obstacle that my trail book called “impassible” haha here’s me taking them up on the challenge 😎

Very cool, and looks like lots of fun!

We'll be moving to Arizona (Florence) next month, at which point I definitely look forward to checking out some of these spots.

Keep me posted if you want a buddy to wheel with! I’m always wanting to go

Oh yeah, will do for sure. The place we're going to be living is just miles away from good state land trails from what I've heard.

@Chris If you are moving to Florence you will be in rock crawling heaven.

Yep, I was using Google Earth and the Arizona State Land website, and from what I can see I'm going to be in wheeling heaven for sure. That was of course something that I didn't realize until after we put in an offer on the house, so it was a hell of a welcome surprise.
