Don't the JL Rubicons come with a steel bumper stock?

Apparently not, they have the Rubicon at this photo. >>>> A Rubicon? with a plastic bumper?????? That is an insult to us Wrangler Owners!

That plastic banana boat bumper concept belongs to the new Renegade Rubicon from FIAT.

Please take it out of my face!

It's an add on to all platforms now and it's called the steel bumper group.

I think what FIAT is saying; there are plastic bumper group (mall crawlers) and the steel bumper group (rock crawlers).

I think China should take over, what do you think guys? We can not win this one

Jeep has been doing this for years now too...Rubicon hard rock or Rubicon. Plastic or steel bumpers. Not much changed only now you can have the steel bumpers on any Rubicon right from the factory.

I'm not too worried about steel or plastic bumpers. If you really are going offroad enough to think twice about a plastic bumper, a new bumper and winch are pretty much necessary. My TJ came with plastic jugs and a flimsy steel bumper than bent if you looked at it wrong. It's not like that would hold up that much better than plastic.
