This applies to our Jeeps also since you need a ATV permit if wheeling in OR.

It's been YEARS now but I use to always just buy the Oregon permit to stop any confusion.

Yep, that’s what I’ve been doing after that one conversation above where I managed to narrowly avoid a citation. He wrote one up, gave it to me, then we talked him into tearing up the citation and left with a warning. It’s worth the $10 just to avoid the confusion (or citation) like you said.
