I have gone through many iterations of upgrading the audio in my LJ and the time has come to move on from the old equipment and see if anyone can use this.

Number 7 not very well and not recommended. Number 8 is good for the stock amp.

So, are all of the Match amps plug and play with my 05 with factory head unit..?? Does the 5 channel Match amps also power the Kicker sub speaker in the stock location..??
Will I be able to retain my SXM radio.??
I already have Kicker replacement speakers in the 4 factory locations.

No they are not, generally speaking the PP in their amps means plug and play, but they need an additional harness.

Note these have a built in digital sound processor and far superior than anything in the price range. I can pretune before sending so it matches your system.

Sirius is most likely through your head unit and this amplifier and sound processor sit between the head unit and the speakers. Sirius is not effected if it is connected to your head unit. Under your dash is best. This is the MA 40FX amplifer which is slightly bigger than the 52DSP and much bigger than the M 5DSP.



I believe the Kicker amp came in 1 ohm or 2 ohms, and this amplifier is best suited for one of companies plug and play amps, and it will work with the Kicker CompRT Subwoofer but only if Kicker is the 1 ohm version wired in series.



I use one of these in my current set-up. It takes up space, but since it is plug and play I remove it when space is needed. Theft is also another concern, buts it's so simple. You could then buy a mono amp to power the Kicker...gets lots more bass.
