AX15 manual to 32RH auto conversion

I did this swap about a year ago. Off the top of my head you need trans,tc will interchange from manual.
Shifter
Shifter cable
Flex plate/bolts
Block off plate from clutch cylinder.
Brake peddle assembly.
tv cable. You can get that new.
If the trans dosnt come with dip stick and tube. Hard to find
If you have a lift I would get sye/drive shaft.
Send ecm to Marks Wrangler to get switched to run auto/lock up converter to work.
All the wiring is there. The clutch switch I hooked up to momentary switch and use it for theft deterrent.
I went ahead and put a Derale trans cooler in.
The swap wasnt to bad. Had to use a big step drill bit to drill hole in floor board for shifter cable.
A good place to get used parts is Partsshowdown and oldbarnclassicllc.

Good list that I'll just add an extended output shaft seal for the 32RH is also needed to seal the 231's input shaft which when configured for a manual transmission is too short for the 32RH. That seal is available from Summit Racing and Teraflex.

Shifter
Correctly, it is shifter, shifter handle, shifter floor plate specific to the auto, and shift indicator bezel.
Shifter cable
The 32RH specific version has heat shielding to stop the exhaust from baking it and ruining the cable housing.
Flex plate/bolts
Also need the stiffener ring for the 6 flex plate bolt holes.
Block off plate from clutch cylinder.
Brake peddle assembly.
Pedal ;)
tv cable. You can get that new.
Some may find it by looking for the kick down cable

Almost impossible and a lot of the 4 cylinder 30RH versions get sent instead.

Depends on the year, the 2002 is missing the short adapter harness for the TCC.

I've done many, what hole did you drill and why? Shifter cable goes forward out the grommet slightly to the left of the HVAC floor vents.

Good to know.

Ok had a chance to think about extremeterrain has a tv cable for sale for 48.33. look up 32rh tv cable kit and go to web site.
Go to modern day muffler and look up trany cooler lines. Make sure you order correct year. Reasonable price. I would get the ones with rubber hose connected.
You will need to get a check valve. The transmission mount has a tapered mount that connects to skit plate. Another part that hard to find. There is a lot of info on internet to find. Try looking up diagrams. Pictures always helped me.
I was able to find a inspection cover.
The measurement of manual trans front drive line is 2 1/2 inches across. Auto trans dl is 1 1/2 inches across.
I have a shifter and cable assembly. Will sell for 50.00 plus what ever shipping.
Another thing you need is a E12 socket for 1 bolt at top of trans. Will through it in.
Was on the parts for sale part of this forum and last year some one was selling everything for 1,500. Dont know if it was sold. Look on internet for used jeep parts.

Good luck. I really enjoy my TJ now that is a auto.
Let me know about the parts if interested. One last thing look now cause it will take some time to track down parts.
