Another tip... Only apply very little anaerobic flange sealant on the case halves. The oil pick-up screen sits low in the case and could get clogged with excess sealant spilling into the case.

Oh yea, you would have loved to see this case! I did not take pictures of when I opened the case, but you get the idea of what the PO did when they put the case back together. The screen was almost plugged with sealant.

Also, that cover has the drain back notch, it must face down.

To me, that looks like rtv was used.

Know of a way to clean the aluminum case? Tried simple green, wd-40, brake clean, didn't do much.
