So, I've had the battery for a couple years, but it doesn't have that many charging cycles because I never drove the jeep much. Anyway, earlier this year I didn't drive it for several months and the battery went completely dead. I put it on a charger until it read FULL, and that would crank the engine all day for one day. The next day the battery would be nearly dead. So, I thought do I have a parasitic drain? So, after charging the battery again and driving the jeep for the day, I disconnected the battery ground to eliminate any drain, but the next morning the battery was nearly dead again. Parasitic drain ruled out. So, I noticed this "repair mode" on my battery charger. Last week I let it charge on this mode for 8 hours then switched to regular charging again. This seemed to have fixed it. I drove the jeep 4 days ago and parked it with no disconnected ground and today it started right up. I don't know what the "repair mode" does on these chargers but it seems to have worked. Battery works normally now. Anyone have a similar experience with "repair mode"?
