Trying to piece together the old Barlow Trail for a run from The Dalles to Oregon City.

Anyone have any guidance on this?

The portion from Wamic to the west (FS-3530) is well documented in several places, but The Dalles to Wamic isn't, and the portion from US-35 (White River area) to Oregon City via the Clackamas river isn't either.

Any help would be appreciated.

Are you looking for info on the yellow road of this map?

Lots of history in that neck of the woods. This will be the first time to go poking around over there. Usually we just pass through on our way to someplace else.
Family have been there a very very long time. They have elk that come down into their alfalfa fields now and then. A hunters dream to see elk in a field.

I'm seeing a gate on the west end of Barlow road at Barlow pass on 35. Is that seasonal, do you know? Or did the road get shut down?

Nope, 197 is it! Approximately. Runs through Dufur to Tygh Valley. Maybe I can refine it with a little research. Thanks @BuildBreakRepeat!

I think that road is seasonal, and you are correct on 197
