Hmmmm I don't think its the ZJ setup. Maybe you replaced the correctlync with the BMB mega uber tie rod and thats when I got this from you? Or maybe I'm just remembering completely wrong
Oh, probably that. I did forget I swapped the tie rod for Blaine's. Fwiw I got my correctlync used but it definitely wasn't a hollow tie rod.

True. My old steering took a lot to get off so I’m worried it messing up the Currie but you’re right it shouldn’t be a big worry. How hard was welding the back inside without removing the spring? I plan on flux core welding it so I can take the tip off for more room.
You bought his old Currie tie rod several years ago when we switched to the BMB tie rod.
Oh I removed the springs and shocks to do it. It was a pain to weld the back side even like that. A lot of contorting
Lost fuel pump + fuel sender signal Friday on a trail. Got towed back to camp… shitbox started right up and drove home the next day. It looks like my track bar mount smashed my fuel pump connector that comes out the front of the GTS, guessing some intermittent connection there. Going to have to splice in a new connector before sand hollow
Sounds similar to @macleanflood's issues on the Rubicon last year. It might be time we start armoring or relocating those wires.

Agree. This is now a pretty well known issue on the forum. My elevated track bar mount crushed my fuel line in Moab three years ago. So I think the fuel line, return line and electrical connection should be moved out of its way or bigger bump stop put in on the driver side. Best solution though is lose the track bar altogether and do a triangulated four link.
100% this. It's really interesting driving it before and after, especially wheeling. There's a bit more freedom in how it all moves if you're paying close attention.
I haven’t driven my rear mid arm yet but it sure moves way better when cycling on the lift.
I'm excited to watch how it all comes together!
So you did this recently… how many wires go into that connector? Is it 4? I am buying a replacement connector and don’t want to go look lol
I bought a Standard Motor Products connector for a bunch of money and then spent a month trying to find a cheaper version. Everything is still taped together under the Jeep and working fine. I broke both the chassis and fuel pump...male and female...sides...

You can buy the shells, terminals, boots, locks, etc on mouser if you are really wanting to keep it stock. They aren’t terribly priced, but shipping is a killer. I have a thread, somewhere, on replacing these…I bought a bunch of replacements when I did my auto swap.

It does have proper turn signals that won't get you disqualified from the inspectors
