Battery Float Chargers

Hi everyone and Happy New Year!
Anyone out there have any experience with "Float Chargers" for battery maintenance? I'm thinking on getting one for when I need to leave my TJ sit for a while (criminal neglect, I know....). Anyway, I get some pretty conflicting opinions when I check them out on the web so anyone here who's used one please let me know what you think. Thanks!!

I have had good luck with C-TEK brand products. smartercharger.com

I use them on both my "toy" cars, even the cheap one from HF works fine.

Thanks guys, I'm gonna pick one up today and give it a try. I hate to leave the jeep sit but that's the way it has to be sometimes!!!

I am lucky to drive my c3 corvette 150/miles a year and my TR6 maybe 500 miles/year...so these are necessary.

I keep one on my Harley battery and one on my two deep cycle batteries for my boat. They are definitely worth the money.
