Alright I can’t decide so help me out.
BDS- inexpensive
Tera- expensive but I like to try different things
OME- tried and true
New RS500x in rear(front already has)

I’m willing to be the test dummy here as it seems not many have Tera or BDS. This will happen this weekend. I don’t need persuading on OME just a vote maybe but the other 2 are not proven on this forum although locally, Teraflex is king around my town. Thanks in advance aaand go!!

I can only give my opinion on OME, having run it before, and about to run it again! It's a solid lift that's ben tried and tested. It rode so well on my last TJ that I'm getting the same lift again for my new TJ!

Thanks for the reply. You are the wise one. I will reveal at the end of the week which route we go with coils in possession! Can’t wait!
I assume HD

So, just the springs, because your shocks are going to be the Rancho 5000X, right?

Tera 3.0 springs are $420
OME 2.0 are $334
BDS 2.0 are $429

I'm not seeing how BDS is inexpensive. Plus you get the NX2 shocks, not that you need them. But is there a way to get BDS springs only?

HD for sure, especially if you plan on having a winch, bumper, etc. You'll regret not getting the HD lift in my opinion.

I could be wrong. I found a link earlier that had 3” BDS springs for $100 per pair. Waldoch or something like that. I’ll post the link here in a bit.
Part # 34308 and 34302

What spring rate do you want? Does Tera or BDS offer options? What about JKS's JSPEC springs?

That’s the thing, I’m not sure what spring rate is best for what we will be doing which is everything. Also in a year or 3 it will be mostly a trail rig and not a DD at all.

JKS is now in the mix. Pulling the trigger on it tomorrow whatever the decision is.

Questions best answered by the spring companies me thinks. Since Tera is close for you, is there anyone knowledgable of their springs you could talk to? Have you put your jeep on the scales yet? That could help determine which way you need to go.
If OME, call Dirk at DPG Offroad. That guy will talk your ear off about OME. He carries JKS stuff too. AOR is vendor here too. He may be helpful. Buddy of mine had BDS springs on his Rubi and was happy with them. I, like @Chris, can only comment on OME springs.

The Tera boys around here are so bias it’s unreal. I’d talk to the local 4 wheel parts guys also but they’re a holes in SLC. They also push Tera. Hmmmm.
I’ve gotta say that OME is in the lead. I’ll make some calls tomorrow to BDS and DPG etc. I just don’t think Tera is worth 400+

Rock Krawler progressive rate springs under $200 pair and work well.

The progressive ride well and handle the load you may install with bumpers, carriers, winch etc

I've been very happy with my BDS springs, running 3" fronts (158 lb - 19.5") and 2" rears (200 lb - 13.75").

Less than $120 per pair direct from BDS.

I've had BDS 3" springs and shocks for about a year and a half now on my 2000 Sport. They are night and day better than the sagging stock springs and whatever rough shocks the previous owner installed.

I don't really have anything else to compare them to, but I've been satisfied.

For reference, the tires below are BFG All-Terrain 33x10.5x15, which are actually 32.5".

As it sits now with a 1" body lift...

No spacers on the rear. They netted at least 2 1/2" of lift. One 1/2" spacer on the right front to get rid of a slight lean. Sits almost perfectly level front to rear.

Dirk at DPG is an OME specialist. He understands the different springs and will mix and match them for your specific vehicle. If you are on the fence between these brands give Dirk a call to see what he has to say. A call is free and you will get solid advice which could give you a push in the direction you ultimately want, if OME, BDS or Terra.
