I am installing replacing a single din Kenwood in our 97 TJ with a double DIN Sony this weekend. Its been a long time since I have done an install (pre Bluetooth) but I have 2 questions about the best way to route wires.

1st - even though I realize that sound will be horrible where are people placing their Bluetooth mics and is there a best way to route it?

2nd - I bought a backup camera from Amazon that I am going to mount in the bumper. Where is the best place to tap into the reverse, and how are you routing the camera wire from the back of the Jeep to the head unit

Thanks

My bluetooth setup involves a DAB aerial/decoder on the passenger side, top of the windshield, and the mic is in the centre by the footman loop at the top of the windshield. Cable tucked under the windshield seal. Not tried it properly with the soft top down, though - I assume it’s useless…
