Hey all, finally getting another TJ, and would like to get others opinions on where to get add ons for my Jeep. I used to use Hooke Road Jeep TJ parts and a few others, but any suggestions would be awesome!
Thanks!

What add-ons and mods would you like to do? What's your budget?

Right now, I’m thinking about a mix of practical and off-road mods for the TJ. I’d like to start with a solid front bumper with a winch mount and some rock sliders or skid plates for protection. I’m also considering a mild lift for a bit more clearance, without compromising its use as a daily driver.
Budget-wise, I’m aiming for around $2,000–$3,000 to start, with the option to add more over time.

Big thumbs down on Hooke Road. That is bottom of the barrel, cheap Chinese trash. No offense, but it sounds like you are just playing Mr. Potato Head with no real game plan on what you will use the Jeep for. Which you are totally free to do, but it usually leads to poor results and rework and more expense.

Barne's has some of those components, and I've been eyeing Cavfab for a spare carrier.
With your budget you should be able to get some nice upgrades, if you're doing the install yourself

Rock rails are essential and should be the first item purchased if you don't already have them.

I'd put that money towards suspension and tires, the two most imporatant items to get over an obstacle. Armor is never a bad idea, but you already have bumpers. Winch is good to have, but if you want to wheel, buy a strap which will cover most situations. I'd add under armor before considering bumpers. If you're front bumper has recovery hooks, then that will be sufficient until you're ready for a winch.

Which is why he is asking for advice here. Just saying.

One of the best and cheapest upgrades I did was installing 1” seat risers. Take it slow and start stashing money away.
Suspension mods cost the most money and can have the biggest problems if not done right. I would drive it for a while and see how you actually use it. Rock crawling requires a different setup than running soft stuff in the desert. PO installed front and rear bumpers. The front is Chinese and the rear is USA made. The powder coat on the front is peeling off and rusted while the rear looks great.
I’m a firm believer in Buy once/Cry once.

... but any suggestions would be awesome!

you'll eventually do the wallet mod:
