Best visual tire size on LJ?

So would you guys go 31 / 32 / or 33's on this LJ?

Currently has a 2" OME lift with 30" tires. Willing to add a body lift to clear 33's if needed.

Honestly it's really just an esthetic thing for me, as even the 30" tires do what I need them to.

But the 30's just look too small with the lift on there.

Here’s mine with an OME lift, 1-1/4” bodylift with 33x10.50’s on stock TJ rims. In my opinion it looks stock.
If you want an LJ to look like a proper wheeler, 37’s are the way to go

35's minimum on an LJ. The extra wheelbase just doesn't look right to me until you get to that size. In your case, add the body lift and go to 33's

I'd consider 35's if my rig would support them without ripping out the OME lift for something bigger.

Would love to see this LJ with 35's instead of the 37's. This thing is my aspiration.

That’s the spider LJ. AEV highline rock crawler bumpers. Just do a YouTube search of spider LJ and you’ll find the video. Cool LJ for sure

The xtra wheelbase does seem to make tires look smaller on LJs. I have 37’s on mine. Will likely go to 40’s after I wear the 37s out

I've never run flat flares, so I can't say from my own experience that my MC flares give me more clearance (I'll leave that to the marketing people at MC). I will say that they give me all the clearance I need, even before I installed the lift, as the photo below shows. After the lift things got even better. My Goodyear MT/R's are 35 x 12.5/15's on 15 x 8 MB Razor alloy wheels.

I need aftermarket wheels now. Using wheel spacers, I'm not a fan of those.

Understand. I have a friend that has 34’s (yeah, gay, I know) on his TJ but with JK wheels and has to run spacers. It looks stupid.

IMHO LJs either need 33s at minimum. I like 35s the best on LJs, but 33s also look great too. The long wheelbase simply demands a bigger tire from an aesthetic perspective I think.
