The xtra wheelbase does seem to make tires look smaller on LJs. I have 37’s on mine. Will likely go to 40’s after I wear the 37s out

Understand. I have a friend that has 34’s (yeah, gay, I know) on his TJ but with JK wheels and has to run spacers. It looks stupid.

Thanks. They are 15x8. PO installed them. I’ll have to measure the BS and get back to you. They stick out just enough but not too much imo.

here's my LJ with a 3" lift and 33x10.5 KM2's on painted stock wheels (no spacers). I would say 33 minimum on an LJ and even then it's a sleeper look because it looks like it should have come from the factory that way.

I'll admit I'm a little bias, but I'm digging 32x11.5 tires I put on my LJ along with whatever 2" lift the previous owner put on it lol

Down the road I may go with a better and taller lift with bigger tires

Here’s mine with an OME lift, 1-1/4” bodylift with 33x10.50’s on stock TJ rims. In my opinion it looks stock.

Yes they are stock wheels with no wheel spacers but I can’t provide any more pictures in that configuration, it now sits a bit taller and rides on 35” KM3 tires.

With the 33x10.50’s the tires sat pretty much even with the edges of the flares.

Cool! Have an LJ and running 33x12.5 currently a set I picked up last year Duratracs. Been considering picking up new tires next year and go BFG All Terrains but now I’m contemplating to just go 10.5 wide and not 12.5. I’m also running stock wheels but have 1.25” wheel spacers.

All the black lower body really makes you Jeep look long... the rampage top kinda accentuates that effect.

Really the amount of lift really plays into it as well. I agree with the OP that his tires look too small. But there are a couple of these shown with 37’s that you’d never think they were that without being told.

Tire to wheelwell gap plays into that completely.
