So one of my rear seat belts doesn't work anymore so I'm looking to get a new one. I couldn't find anything on here but are there better than stock rear seat belts? I have twin daughters that will be riding in the back one day on the Rubicon so I want to make sure they will be secure back there. Any suggestions? Thanks!

It'd be hard to find a better than factory conventional 3-pt. seat belt. What are that belt's symptoms? Could someone like one of your kids have spilled something sticky into its mechanism? If so it's possible that simply flushing the mechanism (primarily the orange cup and yellow lever/trigger) out with WD-40 which is more solvent than lubricant may restore it back to good operating condition.
Also be aware that our seatbelts can be locked up if the Jeep is parked on a hill, they won't lock by yanking on the seat belt. See the silver ball below? It is designed to roll out of its cup during a sudden stop which locks it up. Unfortunately that means it also locks up on any kind of a slope.

Thanks @Jerry Bransford . I bought the Jeep a few months ago and it didn't work then. Very well may be able to take it apart and fix it, I just wanted to know if there was something better (safer) than stock. I will take it apart tomorrow and see if I can fix her up!
@Jerry Bransford So I took my rear seat belts apart yesterday and the first one I did was the working one and it was gummed up a bit but I lubed it all up and reinstalled and it works better than ever!
Then I went to take apart the other one (the non working one) and low and behold it doesn't look like the other one. The cup and ball are missing.....
Am I missing something here? It should have that part correct? Also in the second photo you can see that spring behind the green piece....it's pretty hammered. Not sure if it's even supposed to be in there. Needless to say I cleaned that all out and reinstalled but you can't even pull on the belt at all, it's constantly locked up.
Guess I need to order up a new one?
