They sure did, but you can't get 14" tires for those cars anymore without going to a specialty tire. $$$ I've had to ditch my factory 14s and go to 15+ for that reason.
I run BFG Trail Terrains on my Ford Escape that I keep in Mexico. I purchased them because there are no AT tires available in Mexico in the size I need (P235/55R18), they are a bit tougher than typical street tires, and replacements can be obtained both in the U.S. and Mexico.
I wouldn't dream of running them on my Jeep. There are AT and MT tires for that.

You are mistaking me with someone else I do not have that kind of money!!!! I will winch it up the driveway with the Jeep before I can pay for that
How do you like those? Are they relatively quiet? How's the traction on and off pavement?
They track straight, aren't particularly noisy, perform adequately in bad weather, and have stood up to cobblestone streets, dirt roads, and pothole riddled highways.
What's not to like?
Still, I wouldn't run them on a Jeep.
you can get cooper cobras or bfg radial ta's in 225/70r14, do you consider those specialty tires? from my perspective they are mainstream classic car tires.
i have run AT KOs and KO2's all over eastern WA and north idaho forest roads for many years. No idea why anyone would be reluctant to daily them.
Interesting. I didn't know those were still being made in 14s. I see them often, but the cars I'm referring to run 28" tall tires and white wall.

I went to the BFG KO3 site and put in Wrangler Rubicon (I have Rubicon wheels) and it came up with LT245/75R16/E 120P for the tire. The message below this said:
