Big Bear / high desert camping for the new year

my friend and my dog sent it up to the high desert/big bear for NYE and camped out! I bartend at night clubs and never get these days off so this year I made sure it was peace and quiet to start the new year instead of vodka rebulls and ringing ears! it was about 25F at night but warmer during the day, goal was keeping the pooch warm and backing the jeep up to the fire worked perfectly!

That's our neighborhood! We go (summer) wheeling up there all the time and I know that exact spot.. Looks beautiful - except for all that cold wet snow!
