Body Lift Recommendation

Thank you for the info - this is the first I have heard about needing to raise the steering shaft, how did you do that? also did you need to put a lowering braket on the transfer case shifter?
Whether you need one varies. It's best to look at you steering shaft, where it comes out of the firewall.

Doing this also gives you a chance to check the stock steering pillow block and grease it.

I pulled the steering shaft bearing bracket out cut it in the middle and welded a 1” piece of metal 14 gauge or 1/8”. Just easier than ordering and waiting. On the transfer case shifter I have a rubicrawler installed so both shifters are cable already.
