Is there supposed to be a bolt here connecting the tube from the windshield to the vertical frame by the seats. I took off all the wraps for a deep clean and it didn't look right. If so, how long, what diameter, what thread pitch or what is the name of it for a parts search. Thanks

There should be, yes. Is it missing on the other side as well? I'd pull that one out and measure it

Wow. "Pan head screw" If that's it that's the most generic part name ever. Lol. Diagram on the ebay link is great. 13 and 14 look like the bracket on the frame by the seats don't know why there'd be a difference driver vs passenger. 5 looks like the torx bolts holding that bracket on. 10 or 7 look like the horizontal tube to the windshield. 8 looks like the torx head bolts that hold that on the windshield portion. So 12 would be the bolt I'm looking for? Attaching pic from the ebay link for all to view. Unfortunately the ebay doesn't cross-reference the diagram to the part number. Where could I get that diagram with all the part numbers? And what would that diagram be titled? Frame?

I had no idea that bolt was there. Never had the padding off. That would allow adjustment to the rake of the windshield.
When I have the soft uppers in, the drivers side is clearly a tighter fit than the passenger side. I thought the soft upper frame was bent but I probably just need to nudge things forward a wee bit. That's assuming that bolt is actually there!
