My son bought a cherokee. With a new 2 inch lift. Comprised of new springs, a block of some sort above the springs and yellow shocks (OME?).
The problem is it bounces alot on the freeway. Any dip and it bounces up and down in a sort of dangerous at 65 sort of way. I fear if he had to make an evasive maneuver at speed the cherokee wouldnt fair well. It also squeaks when it bounces going over speed bumps.
My mechanic (admittedly not a jeep guy) gave me an estimate of $1500 to take it back to stock.
Any other suggestions or concerns? Could it just be the shocks?
