Buchanan seat risers (wow!)

For my newly acquired second tj I decided to go with the Buchanan seat risers (2") instead of the Amazon brand I have on my first tj.

I must admit, I'm quite impressed with the quality. The machining, the finish and the hardware are much more than I expected and far superior to anything else on the market. More expensive but definitely worth it.

5'7". I know, it sounds high. Especially since I have 1.25" risers in 01 tj WITH new seat foams. But, I made sure it's the right size by testing it with scrap lumber that I cut and put under seat frame. And, I'll be installing new Summit seat foams too! It's an 03 Sahara and I can barely see over the dash.

I don't know. The seat cushions look fine to me but maybe they've just settled down.

I'm 6'3" and went with the 1.5" risers. Agree they are very well made and an excellent upgrade. Enjoy

Im 6' and also used the 1.5" risers.Buchanan seat risers are a quality product and definitely improves the view. Big difference

oh this is awesome, I was about to get some cheaper 1.5" risers but was hoping there was a 2" option somewhere.

As far as I know, Buchanan makes the only 2" option.

I think it's one of the best TJ mods for under $100. You definitely won't regret the purchase or the improved view

You said that twice so I'll chime in. These are solid 6061 T6 heat treated billet aluminum and at half the price. I'll eventually be getting these.

I like the "original parts" he uses to describe his copies.

@mrblaine , finally got around to installing those jounce bumper retainer cups you sent me some time ago. Maybe I should've used them for seat risers on the 03 Sahara and saved 80 bucks! What do you think?
