Maybe not bad for an overlanding vehicle, but it’s never going to be anything good for articulation.

We looked at Commanders for a while with the Hemi. They don't have a very good reputation in terms of reliability from what I found.

My sister and I drove Corolla and Carova Beach, NC in her Liberty. We made it, but it's not really something I want to do again!
 
IFS wouldnt have great articulation anyway. I like it!

I want to try and level out my wifes Cherokee with slightly larger tires (though nothing to this extreme).
 
I have a buddy with a Liberty. He's going through the process of getting parts and the plan together to put 31's on it. Should be a decent, mild offroad rig when he's done. Trouble with Unibody's like that though is recovery points. Tough to add because there really isn't a frame to bolt anything too.
