Hello, I’m currently looking at two jeeps within my budget. One is a 2004 yellow Columbia edition, 4.0 Manual, bone stock, 3 owners, 160k miles but has an accident reported. Clean title though.
The other one is 2004 silver Jeep Wrangler X, 4.0 Manual, 110k Miles, 9 owners but the guy selling it is being honest and claimed the car fax is showing an accident but he said the title is clean. Should i run or should i go for one of them? What should i look for? Do you think there is frame damage if they were minor accidents? Titles are both clean and i know insurance would salvage a title if there is structural damage. Thanks for the help!!

If they aren't rebuilt titles, .the jeeps drive good and there is no rust or frame damage, you should be on if the price is right .

Lower mileage TJs are still out there .

The one I’m really interested in is the 2004 silver X, it has 110k miles and super clean and stock. The accident on the CARFAX is from 2004 apparently and it was from “impact from a street sign post, functional damage, airbags did not deploy”. I just don’t get why the Jeep had so many owners for such short amounts of time. It was from Tennessee and Indiana then to Michigan then to Vegas and now Southern California. I haven’t looked at it yet but from the pics it looks rust free.
