California bill would ban new fossil fuel vehicles from 2040

I was about to say, some of us may not even be alive by then. In which case... you won't be missing out on much.

Washington and Oregon will get a whiff of this, and jump on the bandwagon. Both states like to think they're just an extension of California, anyway, and I'm sure this will be the next big (really big) "responsible" thing to do. This is why Idaho is calling my name. The entire left coast seems to be infected with delusions of saving ourselves from ourselves. Whatever. These people never cease to amaze me...
