Saw some cool tracks in the desert today. Lizard, bob cat and the ever allusive camel toe prints.

The 4.0 climbing the dunes has its work cut out for it. You need speed, momentum and traction. Time for a locker, and maybe someday a stroker. The TJ platform is superb and reigns supreme there.

Maybe you need some sand paddle tires?

I'll bet my supercharger might make it a little easier.

The supercharger or a stroker I suppose would be a vast improvement. I am getting adequate grip overall when moving at a decent clip, deep sand and gravity does however suck the life out of an inline six. Too much grip and you just dig down in moon dust. Low range can be too low to achieve the speed necessary to climb the inclines. Perhaps a locker up front will help? I'd love to be the first here with a stroker (I think).
