Can anyone identify this part on the seat?

I noticed on both my seats there is a stud sticking out above the track the seat slides in when the seat tilts up.

Can anyone tell me what it is called and what it is for?

I'm guessing it originally had more to it and I'm missing some parts. That seems to be pretty typical as I tinker & explore my TJ more.

There's supposed to be a nylon roller bushing on there. Not sure what it's called, but it helps keep the seat from wobbling.

Check out stableseat, they have a replacement for those to keep your seat from rocking. I just ordered them this week for my seats, but haven't received them yet.

I got the stable seat bushings for my 98 tj and they made a great improvement. However, shipping is very slow. It took about a month to get them. I almost think the guy only ships pout once a month. IDK
