We had hail damage all over a 1996 Plum Mustang GT convertible and PDR came back looking like it did before the hail. We were very pleased and never noticed any of the hail damage after.
I’ve had my Jeep hood looked at by a PDR guy. He looked at four dents and explained what I could reasonably expect from each one. I think you could at least find the same. At the least you get an evaluation of what to expect and estimate of the repair. Mine was $600 for all four dents and one was substantially worse than yours. The crease is a bit concerning, but the PDR guy would know.
Once you start banging it out (if you can even get in there) even with a tool that is shaped to return to the proper shape (or pulling) you likely now have cracked paint that will flake off. Are you prepared to do all the sanding for paint prep since the area you will need to sand will be much larger than that spot? Are you prepared to get a color match and blend? Do you have the compressor, gun, and blending technique? I’ve painted flat auto surfaces and done pretty well. I’ve also repaired flat auto surfaces and done just ok. It is another thing to add in a crease or dent. I won’t mess with that because I can’t get it flat.
