When I had my lift put on, the mechanic told me the trackbar on my Jeep was from a Cherokee. I don't really know the difference myself.

Yes, the Cherokee XJ track bar is interchangeable with the TJ.

You'll have to figure out what brand of track bar it is to know what bushing and driver's side mounting bolt it requires, that is not the OE track bar.
