Let my daughter, her boyfriend and 2 of his friends drive the Jeep and they returned claiming death wobble.
Daughter is small
Boyfriend = 420 lbs
His friend = 320 lbs
2nd friend = 282 lbs.....yes I asked.

I have relatively new 1 ton steering and never the slightest wobble , everything tight, TJ handles great.

Can to much beef in the Jeep cause this claimed wobble or maybe because he's never driven a Jeep before and it's characteristics.

I know crazy thread but just did 50 miles of interstate at 70 mph and handled perfectly.

I can't see how carrying extra weight and death wobble could possibly be linked.

Death wobble is a resonant thing, putting extra weight in the Jeep changes the resonant frequency so it's possible. Realistically it probably means something is out of balance or wearing out.

Edit: I think changing ride height can also change toe, that could be part of it too
