Can you identify this port?

Does someone know what this port is for? The previous owner had a CB radio; could it be related to that? Thanks!

Looks like someone added a 12v power port.

Not original. Obviously added to power some device using a plug in type charger, could have been CB. I'd be curious as to how it has been wired in. Direct to fuse box or hacked into some other wiring, which could lead to an issue. Also, is it constantly powered or only powered with the Jeep running. If all checks out then you have a bonus power outlet.

I couldn't tell you how it's wired up, but I'll look into what accessories fit into it (looks like most things I'm seeing are for the cigarette lighter port)

FYI, that kick panel is super easy to remove and check out the wiring. Two phillips-head screws and then some push-connect tabs at the top to pop out...
