I’ve had an exhaust leak for about a year now. I did the soapy water spray test and found it’s coming from where the manifold mates up to the block. I replaced my manifold gasket last year due to a vacuum leak. That is now fixed. It is right about where the middle exhaust bolt is, on top. I put a wrench on it and got about a 3/4 turn out of it, but still persists. Naturally, if it a cold start there is no leak, but once heats up it starts. Any ideas on how to fix?

I have found the leak, but after really tightening up the manifold bolt, I did the spray test again and it’s still present

I bought a fel pro gasket from oriely’s. I don’t believe it was all metal like the one I removed.

The problem with the non metal gasket is if it has a leak it can blow out part of the gasket where the leak is. Once that's blown out re-tightening it will not stop the leak.
