Yep...but there's no version of reality in which you're going to fit a full drum kit into either...
To be fair Dodge didn't rip off a RR Merlin V - 12 and shorten it to a V - 8 .
Is that what the gaa is based off of?
He's not kidding. Seems we got quite a bit from the Brits around that time....just ask Mr. Whittle...
Just to touch back on the Ford GAA, from what I’ve read about it, it is a modified version of the Merlin, but much improved. The general story is that the Brits contracted with Ford to build engines, supplying prints and a complete engine or two. Ford got everything and within a week or so said they couldn't build a engine with such loose tolerances, then re-spec'd it and built an engine to Ford specs. During testing, the Ford engine proved to be better in every way, so even the Brits produced to Ford specs.
I had a future ex-brother-in-law give me one of these (in red). After driving it 7.7 miles toward home, I determined that I didn't like having my ass that close to the ground, and I sold it to my neighbor just two blocks away from my house for $150. I walked home, glad to be rid of it.

No, that's what I have, he's a legit drummer....
Actually, he has a few kits, including an Alesis electronic, but proper drums and cymbals are preferred.
Have you seen the market for '90s-early '00 Hondas lately? Guys my age who cut some teeth with '90s Hondas now have toy money, and they're buying toys. (BTW, why do they seem to have more toy money than I do?) I've watched 2 Civic SI sell for just over $50,000+, and they sold an Integra Type R for $112,112+ fees a year or two ago.
Look at how many CRX have sold above $30,000 in the last 5 years. You might should have kept your ass a little closer to the ground and that thing in the garage.

Is this the same Ford that thought a Tri-Motor was a great plane , and also didn't build an overhead valve engine for millions of cars ?
They were actually pretty good cars, used to be tons of 'em on the road back in the day. One of my neighbors has a first gen CRX in classic red/silver that looks to be in pretty decent shape. I'd probably buy it off him for the right price, though I don't believe he's in the market to sell.
Doesn't he realize Car Guy > Drum Guy .

Should you happen to pick up that CRX, you should look into a B, H or K swap and turn her in to "the Red Rocket".
You can't settle for just one, that's not the way.

Yeah, I always seem to know just the right time to sell......for the buyer, that is. The Honda. My 1967 383 4-spd Dart convertible. My '73 Challenger Rallye. My '67 Camaro. My '67 440 4-spd Fury convertible. The buyers were all more than happy to hand over not-enough money to me. The damn list is endless...
